The Group is engaged in projects to reduce CO2 emissions related to employees’ commuting. For instance, in 2023, mitigation measures were identified for five locations considered critical. The implementation and monitoring of these measures are scheduled for 2024, with the aim of extending the analysis to the entire consolidated perimeter of the Group. In September 2024, Gpi ranked among the top 10 most virtuous companies (out of 48) in the City of Trento’s initiative “To Work by Bike 2024,” a project designed to encourage sustainable commuting for private companies and public entities. This effort not only contributed to reducing CO2e emissions that day but also promoted new cultural paradigms concerning responsible and low-impact mobility.
