The consortium led by GPI has been awarded the contract to implement Telemedicine processes in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The four-year contract is worth about € 2.1 million (GPI’s share is around €1 million) and calls for the delivery of a telemedicine software platform capable of meeting the citizens’ care and treatment needs, involving doctors and other healthcare personnel throughout the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
Recently, GPI’s Telemedicine Platform, POHEMA, obtained the important MDR 745/2017 certification. This is the Medical Device Regulation, the mandatory European regulation on all medical devices, effective from May 2021. GPI’s is one of the first software in Italy, by sector, to receive this type of certification.
