Among the first to certify the transparent and secure management of Artificial Intelligence.
Gpi has successfully completed the ISO/IEC 42001 certification process, the new international standard for Artificial Intelligence (AI) management systems. In the field of healthcare software applications, Gpi is among the first Italian companies to achieve this milestone: the ninth certification issued in Europe and the 54th worldwide.
The certification will be issued by DNV, an independent third-party body, and confirms the Group’s commitment to a compliant, transparent, and safe use of AI. ISO 42001 serves as a benchmark for organisations designing and integrating artificial intelligence systems, covering key aspects such as risk management, data quality, transparency, and the protection of fundamental rights.
This achievement strengthens Gpi’s strategy for responsible and reliable digital innovation in healthcare, ensuring that the development of AI solutions is guided by rigorous standards of safety, ethics, and corporate values—benefiting customers, professionals, and patients alike.
