The Gpi Group is looking towards new markets to offer its technology in the transfusion field, a sector where it is recognised as one of the most significant players, with installations in 70 countries worldwide.
Gpi will participate in ISBT, the International Society of Blood Transfusion event, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 20 to 24 June. The setting is that of a substantially new market which Gpi wishes to enter as an authoritative player with solid international experience, translating into vast expertise not only in the blood sector, but across the entire supply chain of substances of human origin. The experience gained in recent years in the Philippines, where Gpi manages all the workflows of the national Red Cross, will serve as a bridge towards new destinations.
At ISBT, Gpi will present the Gpi4Med.BLOOD suite, which includes global software solutions for donation centres, blood banks, cell therapies, organs, tissues and breast milk banks. A particular focus will be dedicated to Sentinel Eyes, the solution for the remote management and control – via RFID technology – of blood bags from smart refrigerators.
