At the end of 2023, Gpi’s Blood Unit successfully completed the implementation of the Hematos IIG transfusion information system across Saudi Arabia within just one year. Facing the challenge of serving 133 blood banks, the company acted with strength and reliability in a clinical context highly sensitive to risk reduction.
The high execution capability demonstrated by Gpi, along with the quality of the technologies offered, were praised by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health in a letter sent to the company. It stated:
“Your collective efforts in adhering to timelines, conducting comprehensive staff training, support during and after Go-live and showcasing unparalleled dedication have been instrumental in achieving our project milestones.”
Gpi’s solution will now be used by all transfusion organizations in Saudi Arabia under the Ministry of Health.
